El Paso, TX — El Paso’s nightlife and cultural scene is about to be elevated with the grand opening of the highly anticipated 6ixx Lounge, scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Located at 4317 Dyer Street, El Paso, TX 79930, the upscale yet inviting lounge offers a fresh, sophisticated atmosphere tailored specifically to a mature audience seeking quality music, excellent food, and community-oriented events.
Owners and husband-and-wife team Edward (“Cixx”) and Brandy Wyche created 6ixx Lounge to honor their family legacy and give back to the community. Edward, “Chef Cixx” by those who know him, created this lounge as a tribute to his father, who proudly served in the military. At the same time, Brandy draws inspiration from her grandmother, an accomplished entrepreneur in her own right. Together, they’ve built the lounge around their mutual commitment to strengthening the local community by uplifting nearby talent and fostering the growth of small businesses.

The grand opening event on May 31 is free to the community, with doors opening promptly at 5:00 PM. Guests can also purchase a special grand-opening meal for only $15, which includes Chef Cixx’s mouthwatering brisket and ribs, accompanied by green beans, potato salad, a Planko jalapeño cheese ball, and dinner roll. Regular lounge hours are Wednesday through Sunday, starting at 6:00 PM, featuring popular offerings such as wings, fish baskets, fries, and expertly crafted cocktails, as well as beer and signature drinks. Full-course meals are available on Saturdays and Sundays at 6PM; however, beginning June 15th, Sunday meals start at 1:00 PM. Starting in late July, the lounge will expand its event calendar to include live music performances from talented local artists, such as The AJM Collective, founded by UTEP music graduate Abeni Janae. Abeni expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to showcase local talent through the venue.

- Thursday: Karaoke night (beginning in July, but open now at 6pm)
- Friday: Poetry and Spoken Word at 8:00 PM (featuring local artists including Danesha, Simply Spoken, Starfire, Angie Michelle, Bel “The Belletrist” Torres, Wrecking Belle, and Darrell)
- Saturday: DJ performances (beginning in July, but open now at 6pm)
- Sunday: Live bands (except during football season)

Edward and Brandy encourage community feedback and suggestions regarding future events, menu items, and other enhancements to the lounge experience.
