The Miss Black 915 Authenticity Pageant for Black identifying women aged 18 and older, as well as teens aged 13 to 17 (freshmen to seniors in high school), focuses on celebrating genuine self-expression and individual identity rather than traditional beauty standards. Participants are encouraged to showcase their unique qualities, talents, and stories, encouraging a sense of confidence and empowerment.
In this pageant, judges evaluate contestants based on their authenticity, personal growth, community engagement/involvement, and cultural heritage. This event will include interviews and discussions that promote self-awareness and social issues. The aim is to create a supportive environment where contestants can inspire one another, build connections, and celebrate their diverse backgrounds while redefining what it means to be beautiful and successful.
